Henllys Lodge is in Siloh, Carmarthenshire. It's a detached house, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. It used to be a little lodge but it's been completely rebuilt.
It sleeps eight across four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, two are wet rooms en-suite to two of the double bedrooms. The other bedroom has full-sized bunk beds. All the mattresses are allergy-friendly.
The place is very warm. It's got ground source heat pumps and sheep wool insulation, with underfloor heating throughout. There's a wood burner in the living room that you can see from both sides.
The kitchen is well equipped with a Rangemaster, dishwasher, and a big fridge-freezer. French doors open onto a slate patio with a table and a barbecue. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The garden is large and mostly lawn. It's planted with native stuff so there's usually something in flower. There's a pond at the bottom with fish and frogs. You'll see red kites flying over. We leave a bird feeder out.
There's parking for at least three cars off the road. A locked shed is there for bikes. We've also put in an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, there's table football, a lot of books and games, and a TV with Freeview. The WiFi is good. There's a UK landline for calls.
For things to do, the coast around Pembrey and Llansteffan is about half an hour by car. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a 20-minute drive. If you want to go further into the hills, the Brecon Beacons National Park is about 40 minutes away.
