Goitre Farmhouse

Goitre Farmhouse is near Cwmdwr, which is about eight miles from Llandeilo. It's a detached farmhouse, so you're on your own out there. The garden is big. It's a mix of lawn and patio, with a decked area at the back.

The house sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was fully renovated in 2023, so everything feels new and works properly. The main living room has a wood burner, and there's a conservatory that leads out to the garden.

You can walk from the door straight onto local paths. For anything else, you'll need to drive. Llandeilo is about a fifteen minute drive. It's got good shops, places to eat, and that famous chocolate shop. Llandovery is closer, maybe ten minutes away. It's a smaller town on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

There's a lot to do within a half hour drive. You've got Carreg Cennen castle, Aberglasney Gardens, and Dinefwr Park with its castle and deer. The RSPB reserve at Llyn Brianne is up in the hills. For a proper walk, the Llyn y Fan Fach circuit is spectacular, but it's a full day out. The forests at Cwm Rhaeadr and Crychan are good for shorter walks.

Facilities wise: it has pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking for several cars. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
