Mountain View Siloh

This is Mountain View. It's a wooden pod on our farm in Siloh, near Llandovery. It's detached, so you're on your own out there.

It sleeps four. There's one proper double bedroom and a sofa bed in the main living space. One shower room. It's all on the ground floor and the doors are wide, so it's accessible if you need that. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and clean. It's not a cottage, it's a posh sort of glamping pod.

Outside, there's a big decked area with a private hot tub and a fire pit. The views are the main thing. You look straight out over the fields towards the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.

The farm is a working one, so you might hear tractors or see sheep in the fields. The town of Llandovery is about two miles away for shops and a few pubs.

You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park for walking. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a 20-minute drive. The Dolaucothi Gold Mines are closer, maybe 15 minutes. They're interesting if you like history.

If you want a beach, it's a bit of a drive, maybe 45 minutes to an hour to get to the Ceredigion coast.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, heating, a shower. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right next to the pod. It's all electric. No pets, I'm afraid, because of the farm.
