Field View

This is Field View. It's just north of Cynghordy in Carmarthenshire. It's a small house on its own, just for two people.

The main thing is the location. It's up a private track, and to get in you cross our private railway bridge over the Heart of Wales line. No traffic, just sheep. You get the views across to the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. There's 22 acres of our land you can walk on, and we leave a couple of reclining chairs by the house so you can sit outside.

It's one bedroom, one bathroom inside. It's open plan downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's got things like a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a wood stove for cooler evenings. WiFi is there but it's not super fast because it's rural.

You're properly in the country here. The nearest shop or pub is about five miles away in Llandovery. You need to plan your shopping.

If you're coming by train, the Cynghordy stop on the Heart of Wales line is at the bottom of our land. You can walk up. For driving out, the Brecon Beacons National Park is on your doorstep. The National Trust's Dinefwr Park is about twenty minutes away. Llyn Brianne reservoir is nearby for walks. The old Dolaucothi Gold Mines are worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.

You get bedding and towels. There's parking right outside. There's bike storage if you need it. No pets, sorry.
