Maes Y Bryn is a farmhouse near Waunclunda, just outside Llandeilo. It's a modern build, detached, on a working farm. The views out over the Brecon Beacons are the main thing. They're very good.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything. The place is open plan downstairs, so it's good for groups. There's a games room with a pool table and table football, which is useful if the weather turns.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. For walking, you can drive up to the reservoir at Llyn y Fan Fach in about half an hour. The Red Kite feeding centre at Llanddeusant is up that way too. In the other direction, the Tywi Valley has Carreg Cennen castle and the Dinefwr estate, which are both worth a visit.
Llandeilo is the nearest proper town, about a ten minute drive. It's got shops, cafes, and a few pubs. There's a local pub about half a mile from the farmhouse for a pint.
The facilities list is accurate. It has the washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner, all that. There's enclosed garden space with a BBQ. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance and on the ground floor. You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
