Taliaris Isaf
Taliaris Isaf is a detached farmhouse on our working farm near Cwmifor, about three miles from Llandeilo. The farm is 35 acres. You'll see sheep.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. One has an en-suite bathroom, and there's a family bathroom too. There's a twin room and three doubles, one of which is a super king. The stairs are typical old farmhouse stairs, so they're a bit uneven.
The kitchen is big and has what you need: gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher. There's a utility room with a washing machine. The living room has a log burner and a Smart TV with Netflix. Wi-Fi works, but it's the countryside so it can be slow sometimes. The dining room is large. There's a downstairs toilet.
Outside, there's a large enclosed garden. It's safe for dogs and children. There's a private hot tub. A path leads down to the river, which is good for trout fishing. You can bring two dogs. There's on-site parking for a few cars.
Llandeilo is the nearest proper town. It's got good shops, a few nice places to eat, and that famous chocolate shop. For days out, Carreg Cennen Castle is about twenty minutes' drive. It's a ruin on a cliff, very impressive. Aberglasney Gardens are a similar distance. The Dinefwr estate is near Llandeilo, with a castle and deer park. You often see red kites there.
For walking, the Black Mountain and the Brecon Beacons are within half an hour. The Llyn y Fan Fach walk is popular. The coast, like Pendine Sands, is about forty minutes away if you fancy the beach.
Facilities include all bedding and towels, a cot, highchair, and stairgate. There's a BBQ and bicycle storage. It has a 4 Star rating.
