Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is in Salem, near Llandeilo, in Carmarthenshire. It’s a timber lodge, detached, in our garden. You have your own enclosed patio garden out the front. It looks out onto fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a shower room. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s comfortable and clean. It’s open plan inside. The wi-fi is fine for normal use.
There’s a dishwasher, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There’s bike storage if you need it. Parking is right outside.
Llandeilo is about three miles away. It’s a nice little town with interesting shops and some good places to eat. Carmarthen and Llandovery are a short drive for bigger supermarkets and more options.
For things to do, you’re well placed. The National Trust's Dinefwr estate is nearby, with the castle and Newton House. Carreg Cennen Castle is about a 20 minute drive inland, it’s very dramatic up on the cliff. The Brecon Beacons are about half an hour north for walking. If you’d rather go to the coast, the beaches around Carmarthen Bay are roughly a 30 minute drive south.
We also have another cottage, Ty Newydd, on the same site. You can book both together if you’re a larger group.
