This is Swallows Nest, near Salem just outside Llandeilo. It's a timber lodge, detached, in the corner of our field. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. It's all open plan inside.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We allow up to two. You can sit out there and it looks over the fields.
Llandeilo is about a ten minute drive. It's a nice little town with good independent shops and places to eat. For a proper day out, Dinefwr Park is just there. You can walk up to the castle.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. Good walking and cycling everywhere, including Brechfa Forest for mountain biking. The Brecon Beacons National Park website has routes. Carreg Cennen castle is about twenty minutes away, up on a cliff.
Carmarthen is twenty five minutes west for bigger shops. The coast at Carmarthenshire, like Pembrey, is about forty five minutes in the car.
In the lodge you've got a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you need it.
If you're a bigger group, we have another cottage next door you can book together.
