Cwtch Ty Gwyn

Cwtch Ty Gwyn is on our land, up on the hill above Llandeilo. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The view from the patio is towards the town and the River Towy, and out over the fields to the Brecon Beacons.

It sleeps up to six. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, but they've each got their own bathroom which is handy. If you need more space, the sofa in the living room pulls out into a double bed. That living area is open-plan with the kitchen. Just be aware, the sofa bed is under a glass roof lantern, so it gets light early. Good for stargazing, less good if you want a lie-in in total darkness.

The kitchen's well set up. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room, and a Nespresso machine. There's off-road parking and an electric vehicle charger.

The garden is enclosed, which is good because we've got sheep and cows in the field opposite. You can bring up to two dogs, but just keep an eye on them around the livestock.

Llandeilo itself is a short walk down the hill. You cross the old stone bridge and go up into the town. There are a few nice places to eat and some interesting shops. For a bigger day out, Dinefwr Park is on the edge of town. You can walk up to the castle and see the deer.

Within about half an hour you've got the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens. The Brecon Beacons are right there for walking. If you want the coast, the beaches around Pendine and Laugharne are roughly thirty minutes drive.

It's a 5 Star rated place. That means it's well finished and has everything you should need. The facilities list is all there in the details.
