Barn Cottage
Barn Cottage is on Parc Mawr Farm near Cwmdu. It's next to Dairy Cottage. It's a quiet farm in the hills.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. One bedroom and its bathroom are on the ground floor. The stairs inside are fine, wooden farmhouse stairs. It's got a four star rating, so it's comfortable but not grand.
There's a big living room with high ceilings and beams. There's a wood burner. Doors lead out to a patio. The kitchen has what you need, and there's a utility room with a washing machine. The garden is enclosed. You can park right there.
You can walk from the farm into Cwmdu village across the fields. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep. You can store bikes.
Llandeilo is about a 15-minute drive. Nice little town for coffee and shopping. The National Trust's Dinefwr estate is there, with the castle and Newton House. For a big family day out, Pembrey Country Park is about half an hour away. It's got a big beach, bike trails, and activities.
Brecon Beacons National Park is close, maybe 25 minutes to the north. The Black Mountain is right on your doorstep for walking. You can drive to the Gower coast in about an hour.
We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
