Kingfisher
Kingfisher is here at Maesydderwen near Rhosmaen. It's semi-detached, one of a group. The owners live on-site. You can see red kites out the window most days. There’s a feeding station for them about twenty minutes away if you want a closer look.
It sleeps nine, ten at a push. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star place, so it's got everything you need and is kept clean. It’s been renovated.
The main bedroom is big, fits five altogether. There's a double area and twin beds that are curtained off. That's got its own bathroom with a freestanding bath. The other two bedrooms are a double with an en-suite and a single with access to a separate shower room.
There’s an open plan living area downstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There’s a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You get a patio garden with a BBQ. Parking is right outside.
We’re in the Brecon Beacons National Park. You can walk straight from the door. The market town Llandeilo is about four miles away, it’s got some good pubs and cafes. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles.
If you drive, Carreg Cennen Castle is very close. So is Dinefwr Castle. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about eleven miles. You can go up to Llyn y Fan Fach lake, it’s a good walk. For organised activities like canoeing or riding, you arrange that inside the National Park.
