Robin Cottage is one of the cottages here at Maesydderwen in Cwmifor. We're just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park. It's a terraced cottage, sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated. It's comfortable and clean. The owners live on-site, so we're nearby if you need anything.
You've got a private patio with a barbecue. There's a hot tub, which is a bonus. The garden area is shared with the other cottages.
The place used to be a farm, then an inn. It's quite peaceful. You get red kites overhead quite often. There's a feeding station about twenty minutes away if you want a closer look. You can start walks right from the gate.
Llandeilo is the nearest proper town, about three miles. It's got some nice shops, a few good places to eat. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away.
Carreg Cennen castle is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper ruin on a cliff. Dramatic. Dinefwr castle and park is nearby too. The National Botanic Garden is worth a trip, about eleven miles.
For the Beacons themselves, you're right on the edge. Plenty of walking, cycling, all that. The Towy Valley is good for fishing if that's your thing.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
