Siskin Cottage is in Cwmifor, near Llandeilo. It's one of seven cottages on a former farm with about 42 acres of land. You can walk around the fields and woodland. We see red kites, deer, and woodpeckers here.
The cottage sleeps ten people. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious but not high-end. The layout is a bit split-level, so there are a few steps inside between the dining room, kitchen, and living room. Just mind your head and feet.
Outside, there's a big patio with a table, chairs, a barbecue, and a hot tub that seats seven. There's a shared play area for kids on the site too.
The town of Llandeilo is about three miles away. It's got shops, cafes, and a few pubs. You can drive in, or there are decent walks straight from the cottage if you don't feel like moving the car.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few things. The Dinefwr estate is nearby, with its parkland and deer. Carreg Cennen castle is dramatic. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about eleven miles away. If you want to go a bit further, the south coast beaches are roughly forty-five minutes to an hour.
For facilities, it's got the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
