Hengegin is in Dre-fach, which is a little village about ten minutes outside Ammanford. It's one of a row of old stone cottages. The cottage itself is tidy and clean.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable, not high-end. You should know the bath has a shower attachment over it, it's not a separate shower.
The living room and kitchen are open plan. It's small but fine for four people. There's a wood burner, which is handy on colder evenings. There's also a conservatory on the back where the washing machine and dryer are. It's a good spot to put muddy boots or a couple of bikes.
You're right on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons. For a walk, you can drive up to the waterfalls around Ystradfellte, which is about half an hour away. Closer to home, Castell Carreg Cennen is a 15-minute drive. It's a ruin on a cliff. Impressive.
If you want the coast, the Gower Peninsula is just over an hour's drive. Three Cliffs Bay is worth it. Tenby is about an hour and a half.
For facilities: there's parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. No pets allowed.
