The Lodge
The Lodge is a one bedroom cottage for two people on a farm near Cwmifor, just outside Llandeilo. It's detached and you get your own space with a patio and garden.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's been renovated by us and we live on site. There's a hot tub, which is a big draw for most people. We've got CCTV around the farm grounds.
The bedroom has a double bed. There's one bathroom with a shower. Bedding and towels are included. You've got a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
The location is quiet. You get a lot of birds around, like woodpeckers and red kites overhead. Deer sometimes come through the fields. You can start walks straight from the gate into the Brecon Beacons.
Llandeilo is about three miles away. It's a nice little town with some good places to eat and interesting shops. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles, so you will need a car.
There's a lot to do nearby if you like being outdoors. Carreg Cennen Castle and Dinefwr Castle are both close. The National Trust Dinefwr page has good information. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about twenty minutes' drive. For walking, the Brecon Beacons National Park site is useful. The red kite feeding station at Llanddeusant is a twenty-minute drive if you want to see them up close.
The beach is about thirty miles away, so that's more of a day trip. You're really here for the countryside.
