Sonny Cottage is in Garnant, right at the top end of the Amman Valley. It's a terraced cottage that's been done up.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and a single, and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable.
The layout is straightforward: there's a living room at the front, then a separate dining room and kitchen behind it. There's also a utility room outside, which is handy for boots and coats. The garden is enclosed, which people with dogs or kids seem to like.
The stairs are fairly steep, just so you know. They're normal for a cottage.
You've got a shop and a pub about half a mile down the hill. Both are fine. Ammanford town is about four miles away for bigger supermarkets. Swansea is roughly fifteen miles if you want a city trip.
The area is good for getting outside. The Bryn Oer Garnant golf course is at the bottom of the lane. Lyn Llech Owain Country Park is close by for easy walks or bike rides on the forest tracks.
If you want to go further, the Brecon Beacons are about a thirty minute drive. You've got the Four Waterfalls Walk near Ystradfellte, and the Dan yr Ogof showcaves are up that way too. The Gower Peninsula and its beaches are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes depending on traffic.
As for what's here: there's a washing machine in the utility room, a dishwasher in the kitchen, WiFi, and parking for one car on the driveway. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. The garden is fully enclosed. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome.
