Sonny Cottage
Sonny Cottage is in Garnant, a village just outside Ammanford. It's a converted cottage, so it's got old walls but everything inside is modern. You're about 15 miles from Swansea.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two doubles and a single. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable.
The layout is good if you've got a family. There's a living room, and a separate dining room next to the kitchen. The stairs are normal, not too steep. The garden out the back is fully enclosed, which is handy. There's a separate little utility room outside for coats and boots.
You can walk to a local shop and a pub in about ten minutes. The pub does food.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. The Brecon Beacons National Park is on your doorstep. Lyn Llech Owain country park is just up the road for easy walks or bike rides. If you want something more dramatic, the Four Waterfalls walk near Ystradfellte is about a 40 minute drive. The National Showcaves at Dan yr Ogof are about 25 minutes away, that's a full day out.
The coast, like Pembrey or the Gower, is about a 45 minute drive.
What's here: the place has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine in the utility room. Parking for two cars on the drive. We provide all bedding and towels. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them.
