The Old Boot Room
The Old Boot Room is on our smallholding in Llanfynydd. It used to be the boot room for the main farmhouse, where we live next door. It's a single storey building, just for you two.
It's been done up inside but it keeps its character. The floors are original, so they're a bit uneven in places. It's open plan. You've got a kitchenette with a breakfast bar, a sitting area, and then the double bed is in its own alcove off that room. There's a separate shower room. It's compact, but it's got everything you need. It has a 4 Star rating.
Outside, there's a private courtyard just for you with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the morning. You'll see our sheep in the fields, and sometimes the chickens wander past.
The village pub is about a five minute walk. It's quiet and they do food. For a proper shop, you'll need to drive. Llandeilo is about fifteen minutes away. It's a nice little town with good delis and cafes. Carmarthen is twenty five minutes for bigger supermarkets and a cinema.
You can walk straight out from the cottage onto the lanes. For a good day out, Dinefwr is close. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about twenty minutes drive. If you've got bikes, the trails at Brechfa Forest are half an hour away.
Included in the price is the bedding, towels, the electricity and Wi-Fi. There's parking right outside. We allow one well-behaved dog.
