The Old Boot Room is a cottage on our farm in Llanfynydd. It used to be where we kept the wellies, before we converted it. It's just for two people.
It's one bedroom, one bathroom. There's a main room with a sofa, small kitchen area, and a table. The floors are a bit uneven because it's an old building. We left the character in. The bedroom is through a door off the main room.
You have your own front door and a little courtyard out the front with a table and chairs. We live next door in the farmhouse, so we're here if you need anything, but you're completely separate.
It's a working smallholding, so we have some sheep and chickens. You'll probably see them from the window. The village has a pub, it's about a five minute walk. They do food.
You can walk straight from the door into the lanes and fields. For a day out, Llandeilo is about a 15 minute drive. Nice little town with shops and cafes. Carmarthen is bigger, about 25 minutes. It has supermarkets, a cinema, that sort of thing.
Dinefwr Park is nearby, which is National Trust. Good for a walk and the castle. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a 20 minute drive. If you have bikes, Brechfa Forest is known for its trails.
For the beach, you're looking at about a 40 minute drive to places like Llansteffan or Pendine Sands.
What's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. The shower is electric. You can bring up to two dogs.
