Mynachddu is a barn we've restored, up near Pont ar gothi. It's completely detached. You're on a quiet lane with views out over the Towy Valley. It's a peaceful spot.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. So that's four bathrooms in total. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and it's well equipped.
The stairs are fine, but it's all on one level anyway. The garden is enclosed. There's parking right there.
You’re about a mile from the nearest shop and pub. The pub serves food. For bigger shops, you'd go into Carmarthen.
The Towy Valley Cycle Path runs nearby if you've brought bikes. Brechfa Forest is famous for mountain biking. For walking, the Brecon Beacons National Park is half an hour north. You can get to Carreg Cennen Castle or Aberglasney Gardens in about twenty minutes. Llandeilo is a nice little town about ten miles away.
The coast is a bit further. Tenby’s beaches are just under an hour's drive.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. We include bedding and towels. It's set up for families, with a cot, highchair, and stairgate. We allow one well-behaved dog.
