Heron's Lodge
Heron's Lodge is in Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire. It's a new bungalow, detached, with its own garden and patio. It's built on our smallholding, so you look out over our eight acres of fields. The view from the back is across the Towy Valley towards the Black Mountains.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's modern and well finished. Everything's on one level, so there are no stairs.
You're welcome to walk around the land. There's an orchard, a wildlife lake with fish and geese, and we keep chickens and ponies. You'll often see red kites. It's a working smallholding, so you might hear us about.
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about half a mile up the road. It's a good day out. You can drive to a few spots on the River Towy for fishing, and there are trout lakes a mile away.
For the coast, Pendine Sands or Llansteffan are about half an hour by car. Carmarthen town is ten minutes away for supermarkets and shops. There's a local pub in the village.
The place has a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
