Heron's Lodge Llanddarog

Heron's Lodge is near Llanddarog in Carmarthenshire. It's a modern single-storey bungalow, detached. We built it a few years ago on our smallholding, which is about eight acres.

It's for two people only. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level, no stairs. The kitchen and the patio both look out over our fields towards the Black Mountains. You can sit out there.

You're welcome to walk around the land. There's an orchard, a lake with some big fish, and we keep some geese, chickens, and ponies. You'll often see red kites overhead.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales is literally about half a mile up the road. It's a good day out. The River Towy is known for its fishing, and there are trout lakes a mile away if that's your thing.

For the coast, you're looking at about half an hour's drive to get to places like Pendine Sands or Llansteffan. Carmarthen town is about ten minutes away for supermarkets.

What's here: all the utilities are included. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. We have a cot and a highchair if needed. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
