Cothi Cottage is near the village of Court Henry in Carmarthenshire. It's a stone cottage, one of a few in a courtyard next to the main house where we live. You get your own patio and a bit of lawn that looks onto woods.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan with a wood burner. The ceilings are vaulted with beams, and there's stonework and oak flooring. French doors open onto the patio.
The stairs are a typical cottage style, so they're a bit steep.
There's a pub about a mile away. The historic market town of Llandeilo is a 15-minute drive. It has good places to eat and some interesting shops.
You can use a heated indoor pool in the village of Nantgaredig, which is four miles away. It costs £6 per adult and £4 per child. It has a steam room and a gym. It's open to guests on weekday afternoons and weekend afternoons.
For days out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is close by. Dinefwr is a National Trust estate with a castle and parkland. Aberglasney Gardens are also nearby. The edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park is within a 30-minute drive. The coast, like Tenby, is about an hour away.
Facilities include a wood burner, BBQ, parking, WiFi, TV, and a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. We allow up to two pets.
You can book it together with Gwili Cottage next door if you need space for more people.
