Typicca Farmhouse
Typicca Farmhouse is in Brechfa, Carmarthenshire. It's the main house on our working sheep farm. The setting is very rural, just fields and hills.
The house sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The floors are a bit uneven in places, which is normal for an old farmhouse. The doorway into the downstairs shower room is also a bit low. We have a stairgate and a highchair.
You can get onto the mountain bike trails in Brechfa straight from the gate. The Brechfa Forest trails are really well known. For walking, you've got miles of paths right here. The garden is lawned, with a patio and a BBQ.
Llandeilo is about twenty minutes by car. It's a nice market town with some good delis and cafes. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about half an hour away. Carmarthen is a similar distance for bigger supermarkets.
Further out, you've got the coast. The Gower Peninsula, like Rhossili Bay, is under an hour's drive. Tenby is about an hour. So is Oakwood Theme Park.
Facilities wise: there's a log burner, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. The entrance is step-free and there's a downstairs shower room, but due to the age of the house, other internal doorways are standard and there are steps between some rooms.
