Typicca Farmhouse

This is Typicca Farmhouse, on our sheep farm near Brechfa. It's the main farmhouse. The views are over the fields and hills here.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not modern. The rooms are big. The living room has a log burner, which you'll need in the winter. The stairs are typical old farmhouse stairs, so they're a bit steep and turn.

You're right on the edge of Brechfa Forest. The mountain bike trails start about a mile away. The forest itself is good for walking. It's quiet. You'll hear sheep.

The village of Brechfa is tiny, just a church and a pub. The pub, the Tafarn Sinc, does food. For a shop, you'll need to drive to Llanybydder, about ten minutes away.

Llandeilo is a nice market town, about twenty minutes by car. Good for cafes and a wander. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about half an hour's drive. It's a good day out if you like gardens. For the coast, you're looking at about an hour to get to places like Tenby or the Gower.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for a couple of cars right outside. The garden is lawned, with a patio and a BBQ. It's fully enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs.

It's a working farm, so there will be times you see us with the sheep or hear the tractor. The entrance is level, so it's wheelchair accessible to get in.
