Gwili Cottage

Gwili Cottage is in Court Henry, Carmarthenshire. It's a stone cottage, part of a small courtyard. You've got your own enclosed patio with a table and chairs. The view looks down a wooded valley.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. There's a wood burner in the living room. The ceiling is beamed and vaulted.

The cottage is in the grounds of the main house. There's parking on site. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.

There's a local pub and restaurant about a mile away. The shop is about the same distance.

You get access to a private indoor swimming pool, but it's not on site. It's in Nantgaredig, about four miles away. It's heated, and there's a steam room and a gym. You have to pay a discounted rate to use it. It's open from 1pm to 7pm on weekdays and 1pm to 5pm on weekends. You can find more details at Four Seasons Wales.

For walking, you're surrounded by good routes straight from the door. The River Cothi is a short walk away if you like fishing. Llandeilo and Carmarthen are both about a 15 minute drive. They're proper market towns with shops and places to eat.

Within a half hour drive, you've got the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens. The National Trust's Dinefwr park, castle, and house are nearby too.

Further afield, you can get to the Brecon Beacons National Park, Tenby, or the Gower Peninsula in about an hour.
