Gwili Cottage
Gwili Cottage is in Court Henry, Carmarthenshire. It's a stone cottage in a courtyard, part of a bigger estate. It's rural. You look out over a wooded valley.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star cottage, so it's comfortable and clean. The living room has a wood burner and a beamed ceiling. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, a bit steep.
You have your own patio area. The main thing is that you get use of the owner's indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. It's there if you want it, good for a swim if the weather's bad.
There's a local pub about a mile away. The river Cothi is a short walk if you're into fishing. For shops and more places to eat, Llandeilo and Carmarthen are about a 15 minute drive.
The area is good for walking and cycling. The Brechfa forest trails are close by. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a short drive, and Dinefwr is nearby if you like history and parkland.
If you want to go further, the Brecon Beacons are about half an hour north. The coast around Tenby and the Gower Peninsula is within an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two pets. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
