Pwll Farmhouse
Pwll Farmhouse is in Llanllawddog, which is near Carmarthen. It's a detached stone farmhouse. We're in a river valley here, so it's green and quiet.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept. The owner did the restoration and lives nearby. The kitchen is big and open plan, good for when everyone's in together. There's a wood burner in the living room.
You're right on the edge of Brechfa Forest. The main thing here is the outdoors. The mountain biking trails in Brechfa are well known. There's also walking, pony trekking, and birdwatching from the door. The river, Afon Gwili, runs through the valley.
There's a village pub about three miles away in Brechfa. They do food. The nearest shop is about the same distance.
Llandeilo is a 20-minute drive. It's a nice market town with little shops and cafes. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is just outside it. That's about 25 minutes by car. The coast, like Llansteffan or Pendine, is about 45 minutes to an hour away.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a BBQ. The garden is yours to use. We take up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
