Upper Mill Barn
Upper Mill Barn is on our farm in White Mill, Carmarthenshire. It's one of two barn conversions attached to the main farmhouse. The farm's been here since the 17th century. We run sheep and grow crops.
The barn sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The living area is all open plan with high, beamed ceilings. You get good views down the valley from up there. You can sometimes see deer in the woods opposite.
It's a working farm, so you'll see us going about our business. There are buzzards and herons about. If you're out late, you might see the barn owl.
The local pub in White Mill is about a mile's walk. They do food and local ales. The nearest shop is a mile and a half away.
If you like walking or cycling, Brechfa Forest is right here. It's part of the wider Brecon Beacons National Park. The Cambrian Mountains are to the north for more serious walks.
For a day out, Cefn Sidan beach is about a 30-minute drive. It's a long, sandy beach. Pembrey Country Park is next to it. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is also about half an hour away, and it's worth a visit.
Facilities: you've got a private patio and garden. There's a hot tub. WiFi, TV, parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
You can book it together with Lower Mill Barn next door if you need space for eight.
