Pistyll Bach

Pistyll Bach is in Capel Isaac, Carmarthenshire. It's a detached house at the end of a single track lane. The garden is big and mature. You get a lot of privacy.

It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is unusual. The main living space has a wood burner and high ceilings with a gallery landing above. The kitchen is open plan to that room. There's also a separate garden room with lots of glass.

The stairs are in two places. One set goes up to the master bedroom suite from the living area. The other goes up from near the dining table to the other three bedrooms.

There's an indoor swimming pool. It's heated to about 34 degrees all year and is about 30 feet long. It's filtered by plants, so it's a natural pool. It's off the hallway on the ground floor.

One of the four bedrooms is on the ground floor. It has its own ensuite shower room. You can get to it from the garden room or the main hall, so it's quite private.

There's parking on the drive. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. It has an electric vehicle charger. We allow one dog. All bedding and towels are included.

The nearest pub and restaurant is in Llandeilo, about three miles away. Llandeilo is a good little town with shops and cafes. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is very close, maybe a ten minute drive. It's worth a visit. The Brecon Beacons are about a thirty minute drive north for walking. For a day at the coast, places like Tenby are about an hour's drive.

If you're looking for information to plan trips, these are the main sites: National Botanic Garden of Wales, Brecon Beacons National Park, and Visit Wales.
