Bwlchygwynt is our barn, near Cwmdwr in Carmarthenshire. It's detached, so you're on your own. We finished the renovation last year, so everything is new. It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy.
You get good views of the Black Mountains from here. The garden is enclosed, which is safe for dogs and kids. It's dark at night, so if it's clear you can see a lot of stars.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner for the evenings and underfloor heating, so it's warm. We've put in a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can walk straight from the door. You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Llandovery is about five miles away for shops. Llandeilo is a half hour drive, it has nice cafes and some independent shops.
If you want to explore, the Dolaucothi Gold Mines are a good day out. The reservoirs and forests around here are good for walking. The coast and beaches are about an hour's drive south.
We allow up to two dogs. There's parking right next to the barn.
