Bwlchygwynt

Bwlchygwynt is our converted barn near Cwmdwr. It's detached and stands on our land, with views over towards the Black Mountains. We finished the renovation in 2023.

It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. It has a 4 Star rating. Underfloor heating on the ground floor keeps it warm, and there's a wood burner in the main room too.

The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs. We allow two. It's lawned and the views are proper. At night, there's no light pollution so you can see the stars.

You can walk from the door straight into the hills. For a bigger day out, the Brecon Beacons National Park is close. Llandovery is about four and a half miles away for shops.

If you fancy a drive, Llandeilo is under half an hour. It has nice shops and places to eat. The National Trust Dolaucothi Gold Mines are worth a visit. The RSPB reserve at Llyn Brianne reservoir is nearby if you like birds.

Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, and BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. WiFi is available.
