Gamekeepers Cottage is in Sardis, Carmarthenshire. It's a cottage for two, one bedroom. You share a cobbled courtyard with one other cottage, but you've got your own enclosed garden.
It's got a 3 Star rating and it's just a clean, straightforward place. It's right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The countryside is nice and quiet. You’ll see red kites and buzzards.
The village of Llangadog is three miles away. It’s got a few pubs and places to eat. A good local pub is about three miles, so you'd drive.
Llandovery is also three miles away. It’s an old market town with a few bits of history and places for a meal. Llandeilo is nine miles. They’ve got some interesting shops, a castle, and an antique centre there.
If you like walking or cycling, you’re in a good spot for the Brecon Beacons. There’s fishing in the local rivers. The Red Kite Feeding Centre is nearby and worth a visit. The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are both within half an hour's drive.
Facilities: there’s parking, a garden, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. It can be set up for a Christmas stay if you want.
