Penybryn
Penybryn is a one-bedroom apartment that sleeps four. It's attached to our house here in Manordeilo. The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed set. There's one bathroom with a shower.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything works. You've got the basics like a washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The main thing about it is the view. You look straight out across the Towy Valley towards the Brecon Beacons. It's very quiet here. You're on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
You're between Llandovery and Llandeilo. Both are about a ten-minute drive. Llandeilo has shops, cafes, and a few restaurants. There's a pub in the village, about two and a half miles away.
If you're walking or cycling, you're in the right place. You can access the National Park trails directly. For a day out, Dinefwr is nearby, or the National Botanic Garden of Wales. The coast is about forty minutes to an hour by car, depending on which bit you go to.
It's a good, simple base if you want to be out and about. You're not isolated, but it feels private.
