West Barn
West Barn is in Halfway, near Llandeilo. It's a converted barn on a farm, so it's properly in the countryside. You get your own garden and access to a three-acre field out the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. One has a jacuzzi bath and a separate shower. The other has a bath with a shower over it. The main bedroom bed is a super king. The other bed is a king that can be split into two singles if needed. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well finished. Underfloor heating, remote blinds, that sort of thing.
There’s a log burner in the lounge. The big doors open right out onto the patio. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. We've put a private gym in the outbuilding. It's got a treadmill, rowing machine, weights and a TV.
Outside, there's a patio with seating and a BBQ. The garden is enclosed. There's an electric vehicle charger and parking right there.
You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and highchair.
Llandeilo is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. It's got nice shops, cafes, and a few good places to eat. They have festivals sometimes, like a jazz or gin festival.
For days out, Dinefwr Park is very close. It's a National Trust place with a castle and deer park. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a 20-minute drive. It's got the big glasshouse and butterfly house. Carreg Cennen Castle is a dramatic ruin about 15 minutes away. For walking or mountain biking, Brechfa Forest is within half an hour.
The Black Mountain range and the Brecon Beacons are about 45 minutes to an hour's drive if you want bigger hills. Brecon Beacons National Park has all the information for that.
