Yr Hen Efail is in Abergorlech. It used to be the village blacksmith's workshop. It's a semi-detached cottage for two people.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has what you need for cooking. The stairs are winding and a bit tight, typical for an old building.
Outside, there's a side garden with seating next to the river. You can hear the water running. It's a quiet spot.
The village is small and quiet. There's a pub about a fifteen minute walk away. For shops and more places to eat, you'll want Llandeilo. That's about a fifteen minute drive. The Dinefwr estate is there, and Carreg Cennen castle isn't far either.
The Brecon Beacons are about half an hour north for walking. If you want the coast, the Gower Peninsula is roughly forty minutes south.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding is provided. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you need it.
