Silent Springs
Silent Springs is in the village of Nawton, a few miles outside Helmsley.
It's a barn conversion, sleeps four. There's one large bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area together. There's a TV and Wi-Fi. Patio doors open out to an enclosed garden.
The stairs up to the bedroom are steep. I'd take care if you're bringing kids. The bathroom is ensuite, it's a shower room.
You can have pets, up to two is fine. There's a cot and highchair in there if you need them. Bedding and towels are included, and there's parking on the drive.
There's a pub in the village you can walk to. Helmsley is the nearest proper town, about three miles away. It's got a market square, a castle, and shops. The North York Moors are all around, so it's good for walking. The North York Moors National Park site has lots of routes.
You can be in the centre of York in just over an hour. Whitby and Scarborough are about the same, maybe eighty minutes by car.
