Rosebeck is a stone-built, semi-detached cottage in Helmsley. It's the middle of town, so you're right by the shops and pubs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: a king and a double. Both have their own ensuite shower room, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star, so it's got everything you'd need. There's a wood burner in the living room. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, just be aware of them.
Outside, there's a private patio with a table and a barbecue. And there's a separate sun room too, which is a nice extra space with another sofa and a wine cooler.
Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi, and there's a washing machine and dishwasher. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's bicycle storage if you bring bikes.
As for the area, you step out the door and you're in Helmsley. It's a proper market town. The square, the shops, the castle, and the Walled Garden are all a two-minute walk. For a longer walk, you can pick up the Cleveland Way straight from town.
You're a 20-minute drive from the edge of the North York Moors. Sutton Bank and the White Horse are about 15 minutes by car. The coast, like Sandsend or Whitby, is roughly half an hour's drive. Castle Howard is also about 30 minutes away.
