Lily Pad
This is Lily Pad in Helmsley. It's a two-up-two-down cottage, about a minute's walk from the market square. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
The front door opens into the living room, which has a wood burner. Through there is the kitchen-diner, with patio doors leading to a small, private seating area. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king-size bed that can be split into twins if needed. The second bedroom has a double. They both have TVs. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
You're right in the town, so you've got the shops, cafes, and pubs on your doorstep. Helmsley Castle is just there, and the walled garden is a nice stroll. The start of the Cleveland Way is close by if you want to walk straight out onto the moors.
For a day out, Rievaulx Abbey is about ten minutes' drive. The North York Moors National Park is all around you. Places like Pickering or Thirsk are within half an hour if you want a different market town.
Facilities: There's parking for one car on the drive. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
