Set on the outskirts of the fashionable spa town of Harrogate, this truly stunning, stone-built, traditional, terraced, four-bedroom holiday home boasts an abundance of period charm whilst offering a high quality modern, spacious living space.
The house is set over three floors; on the ground floor, you are presented with a fabulously large open-plan living area which presents a comfortable living room with period high ceilings, and a striking wood burner adding additional heating and charm. This is a great place to relax in comfort after a day out exploring. Across from the living area, there is a lovely kitchen/dining room which is well presented and well equipped should you not wish to dine in the many superb eateries close by. From the kitchen leading onto the superb private sun deck terrace area, you have a fantastic place to have a glass of fizz in the summer months or have your morning coffee to get energised for the day ahead. On the first floor are two good-sized double bedrooms along with a quirky family bathroom that boasts a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, and heated towel rail. The second floor offers a further large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite facilities. Across the landing is the fourth bedroom With single bed and pull-out single bed . In addition, the second floor offers a great little snug area that presents a sofa, and Smart TV and can be used for children to plug in their game consoles.
Glendon is just a short 20-minute walk into the centre of Harrogate meaning you have so much to explore. You have the world-famous Betty’s Tearoom right on your doorstep where afternoon tea is a must along with many fantastic restaurants, pubs, independent shops, and cafés. The Valley Gardens are nearby and RHS Harlow Carr can be found on foot, taking a beautiful walk through The Valley Gardens and Pinewood. Let us not forget that Harrogate is on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales meaning there is plenty of opportunities to explore what Yorkshire has to offer, with it being on foot or by bike you will always have plenty to see and investigate. The only issue you will have staying at Glendon is fitting everything in so why not book a few extra days?
