Ty Isaf is in Barmouth. It's a detached white cottage at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The town centre is a short walk down the hill.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed and one with three singles. There's one bathroom with a shower and a separate bath. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-kept and has everything you need.
The living room is on the first floor. The main reason for that is the view. You get a full panorama of the Mawddach estuary and the hills. It's a proper outlook.
The kitchen is downstairs. It's modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a small patio area out the back with a table.
You can walk into Barmouth in about five minutes. The beach and the old wooden viaduct are there. The Mawddach Trail starts from the bridge. It's a flat, old railway path that goes all the way to Dolgellau.
Up behind the town is Dinas Oleu. It was the first bit of land given to the National Trust. The walk up is steep but the view from the top is the best around.
You can get the train from Barmouth. Go north to Harlech for the castle. Go south to Tywyn for the Talyllyn steam railway.
For bigger days out, Blaenau Ffestiniog and the Zip World activities are about a 30-minute drive. Snowdonia National Park is right on the doorstep.
Facilities wise: it's got WiFi, TV, all bedding and towels are included, and parking for one car right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
