Treetops

This is Treetops. It's detached and on its own bit of land above the village of Friog, on the coast. The main thing is the private indoor pool. It's heated, so you can use it any time.

It sleeps eight, across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One looks like it has a walk-in shower. The place has a 5 Star rating, so everything should be in good order.

The garden is decked and landscaped. The view is the reason you'd come. You look straight out over Cardigan Bay and across to Cader Idris. It's quiet up there.

You're right on the edge of Snowdonia. For a walk, you can head straight into the hills from the door. The Mawddach Estuary is good for a gentler stroll. Snowdonia National Park has all the route information.

The beach at Fairbourne is a couple of miles down the road. Barmouth is along the coast, maybe a ten minute drive. It's a classic seaside town with a good beach and a harbour.

Dolgellau is the nearest proper town, about a 15 minute drive. It's got shops and pubs. From there you can drive up Cader Idris if you're feeling energetic. Portmeirion is that unusual Italianate village, roughly half an hour away. The Wales Coast Path runs right past the area too.

Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The listing says it has wheelchair accessible entrance and ground floor facilities, so check with me if that's important for your group. No pets.
