Ysgubor Uchaf
Ysgubor Uchaf is an apartment on the first floor of a converted barn. It's near Friog, just outside Fairbourne. Hen Ysgubor, another holiday let, is below you on the ground floor. You don't share an entrance though.
The apartment sleeps six. It's got three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable and well-kept.
The main point is the view. You look out across the Mawddach estuary. You're also right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. There's a footpath straight from the farm down to Fairbourne beach. Or you can walk over the railway bridge to Barmouth. The coastal path and cycle trail are basically on your doorstep.
The farm here does pony trekking. It's right on site. They take beginners if you've never ridden. If you've got your own horse, you can stable it here if you arrange it ahead of time.
There's a shop and a pub about three-quarters of a mile away. For bigger shops, you'd go to Barmouth or Dolgellau.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
