Brig-Y-Don Bach
This is Brig-Y-Don Bach. It's the smaller one of two cottages here in Llanaber. The bigger one, next door, is Brig-y-Don. You get your own front door and a little patio to the side. The main garden is shared with the other cottage, but you have your own bit of it to sit in. The view from the garden over the bay is very good, especially at sunset.
It's all on one level inside. One bedroom, sleeps three. The bathroom is a wet room. It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well kept.
Getting to the beach is easy. There's a path from the bottom of the garden, across the railway line, and you're straight onto the sand. It takes a few minutes. You can walk along the front into Barmouth from there.
Barmouth has the usual stuff. A few pubs, cafes, shops. It's about a mile to walk. There's a local pub and a restaurant within half a mile if you don't want to go that far.
For walking, the Mawddach Trail is right there. It's flat and follows the old railway line. Good for bikes too. Harlech Castle isn't far, maybe a 15 minute drive. The Cadw page has the details. If you like old railways, the Ffestiniog and Talyllyn are both within about half an hour.
Inside, it's got what you need. Washing machine, TV, WiFi included. Bedding and towels are there. Parking for one car. You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed.
