Y Gweithdy is in Barmouth, just up from the high street. It's a semi-detached house, sleeps two. There's one bedroom and a shower room.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's a quirky place. The stairs to the roof terrace are spiral and quite steep. Just so you know.
You're about a hundred yards from the beach. The same to a few pubs and shops. It's very handy.
You can walk straight onto Barmouth Bridge from the town. The Mawddach Trail starts on the other side. It's a flat path along the estuary, good for walking or cycling to Dolgellau.
Harlech Castle is about twenty minutes drive north. For the mountains, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. You can be walking in the hills in ten minutes by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
