Llety Clyd

Llety Clyd is on the high street in Barmouth. It's a house, built over three floors. You go straight onto the main road out the front, but you don't hear too much noise because it's often pedestrians. The side entrance is private. The beach is one street away. You can see the water from the top floor.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms; two doubles and a twin room. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a shower and a separate bath. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. The stairs are typical for a tall house like this, a decent climb between floors.

You're right in the middle of things. Bakeries, cafes, pubs, restaurants are all on your doorstep. The kitchen is modern and has everything, including a dishwasher. There's parking for one car on site, which is useful here. Bedding and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them.

For walks, the Barmouth Bridge is a few minutes away. You can walk or cycle across the estuary to the Mawddach Valley trails. The Panorama Walk gives you views right over the town and bay.

Within half an hour's drive you've got Harlech Castle, which is Cadw run. There's good beach there too. Portmeirion is about 25 minutes north. For a bigger day out, National Trust Snowdonia properties like Penrhyn Castle are within reach.

The place is designed to be easy, so you can just lock up and go. That's about it.
