This is Glasfor, in Llwyngwril. It's a stone cottage right in the village. The name means 'The Blue Sea'.
It sleeps four, across two upstairs bedrooms. Both have king size beds, but one can be split into two singles if you need that. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and well looked after.
Downstairs, there's a living room with a wood burner in the fireplace. The kitchen has what you need. A patio door goes out to a small seating area at the back. It gets the sun in the summer.
It's an old cottage. Some of the ceilings are low and the floors aren't perfectly level. It's part of the character. Just mind your head in a couple of spots.
You can walk to a pebble beach in about five minutes. For sand, Fairbourne beach is about three miles down the road. The village has a shop and a pub. The train station is a short walk away. You can get the train to Barmouth or Aberdyfi along the coast. It's a nice way to see the bay without driving.
For walking, you're on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Bird Rock is just down the road. From the beach here, you can see Snowdon on a clear day. Sometimes you see dolphins out in the bay.
The facilities: it has a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. It's decorated for Christmas if you book over that period.
