Glasfor
This is Glasfor, in Llwyngwril. It’s a two-bedroom cottage, sleeps four, and you can bring one dog. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
The place is old, so the ceilings are low in parts and the floors aren't level. Nothing dramatic, just mind your head. We like the original features, like the stone fireplace with the wood burner. It's warm and solid. There's one bathroom upstairs with a shower cubicle.
Both bedrooms have king-size beds, but we can make one of them into twins if you ask beforehand.
The back door from the kitchen leads to a small patio area. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You can hear the stream from there. The village shop and the pub are a couple of minutes' walk away. The pub does meals.
You can walk down to the pebble beach in about five minutes. For a sandy beach, Fairbourne is a ten-minute drive. The train station is just up the road. You can get the train to Barmouth one way or Aberdyfi the other. It's a good way to see the coast without driving.
For walking, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. Bird Rock is just down the lane. You can see Cadair Idris and sometimes even Snowdon from the beach.
Included in the price is bedding, towels, wifi, and electricity. There's a dishwasher, and a washing machine in the outhouse. Parking is on the street outside the cottage.
