Fairlawns

Fairlawns is a bungalow in Fairbourne, so everything is on one floor. It's detached with its own garden. The lawn is a decent size and you get a good view of the mountains from it.

It sleeps four in three bedrooms and there's one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. You can bring up to two dogs.

The beach is about a two minute walk away. It's sandy, about two miles long, and it's usually quiet. You walk over some stones to get to it. A lot of the beaches around here allow dogs.

There's a local pub and a golf course nearby. In Fairbourne itself, you can get the little Fairbourne Railway out to the headland. From there you can catch the ferry across the Mawddach estuary to Barmouth. In Barmouth you can walk across the old wooden bridge or try crabbing off the harbour wall.

For a day out, Dolgellau is a nice market town about twenty minutes' drive. Coed-y-Brenin forest park is great for mountain biking and walking, maybe half an hour away. You can drive to the Talyllyn Railway at Tywyn in about the same time for a steam train ride.

Facilities are straightforward: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, parking on site, WiFi and TV. Bedding is included.
