Fairlawns is a bungalow in Fairbourne. It's detached. You get the place to yourselves.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. It's on the ground floor so no stairs to worry about.
The garden is a good size, mostly lawn. It looks out over the fields towards the mountains. You're about two minutes from the beach. The beach is sandy and generally quiet, but getting onto it involves going down some steep stones. The beach is dog friendly, and we can take up to two dogs.
In the village there's a pub and a shop. The little Fairbourne Railway runs down to the headland, and you can get a ferry across the Mawddach to Barmouth from there. Barmouth has a harbour and a long railway bridge you can walk across.
For walking, you're right at the foot of the Snowdonia National Park. Cader Idris is a serious climb from here. The Talyllyn Railway is a lovely narrow-gauge steam railway about a 30 minute drive away. The market town of Dolgellau is about 20 minutes by car.
Inside, there's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. There's parking on the drive.
