Barreg is in Barmouth, North Wales. It's a terraced cottage, not detached, so you've got neighbours. It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is pretty good for a cottage.
The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two pets. There's a barbecue out there, and a patio area.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. You've got the usual stuff: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Barmouth itself is right on the coast. The beach is sandy and the town has a proper promenade. It's a working town, not just for tourists, so you've got shops and a few pubs. The views over the estuary to Cadair Idris are very good.
You're on the edge of Snowdonia National Park here. A lot of the well-known walks and climbs are within a 30 minute drive. Cadair Idris is about 20 minutes away. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline and some estates nearby if you're planning walks.
Harlech, with its castle, is about 15 minutes up the coast. The Wales Coast Path goes right through. For a bigger town, Dolgellau is inland, maybe 20 minutes by car.
