This is Hafod in Barmouth. It's a detached house on the coast road, so you're right between the mountains and the sea. The views are good. You can see Cadair Idris and a bit of the sea from the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not fancy. The living room has doors out to a small balcony. The kitchen is old fashioned but it works. There's no dishwasher. There's also no Wi-Fi. We get a signal but it's not great, so we just left it out.
The garden is at the back. It's got a couple of patio areas, a firepit, and it's enclosed.
You're on the coast road, so you can walk into Barmouth. It's about fifteen minutes. It's a proper seaside town with a big sandy beach, shops, and pubs. The promenade is good for a stroll.
You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. For walking, you can head up Cadair Idris or just follow the Mawddach Estuary path. The Harlech Castle is about fifteen minutes by car. Portmeirion is about half an hour away, up near Porthmadog.
There's parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
