Hafod
This is Hafod. It's in Barmouth, North Wales. A detached house, so no neighbours attached. It looks over fields towards the sea.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The garden is enclosed. There's parking right there.
The living room has French doors that go out to a small balcony. You can see the sea from there. There's no wi-fi in the house. The kitchen is old-fashioned but it works. There's a round table in there. No dishwasher.
You're about a mile from the big beach in Barmouth. The town has all the usual stuff: shops, pubs, restaurants. It's a proper seaside place.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Cadair Idris is the big mountain you can see. Good walking from the door. The Mawddach Estuary is close by for a flat walk. The Wales Coast Path runs through here too.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Harlech Castle, which is Cadw, or to Portmeirion village. There's a golf course in Harlech. The nearest big supermarket is in Dolgellau, about a 15 minute drive.
Facilities: there's a TV, a washing machine, bedding and towels are provided. There's outdoor furniture and a firepit in the garden. No pets allowed.
