This is Erw Goed Old Barn, near Arthog. It's a converted barn, so it's detached and fairly spacious inside. You're right on the edge of Snowdonia, about three miles from the beach at Fairbourne.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. The place has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
You get your own garden, about half an acre. It looks out over the estuary. You can see both the sea and the mountains from there. The barn sits in about 75 acres of farmland that belongs to us. You're welcome to walk around it, just watch out for sheep.
The nearest shop is about five miles away. The closest pub is four miles. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, you'd drive to Dolgellau or Barmouth.
If you like walking, you're basically already in Snowdonia. You can get to the Mawddach Trail easily. The beach at Fairbourne is sandy and good for kids. Barmouth is about twelve miles if you want to go sailing. There's a golf course nearby, and you can arrange horse riding locally.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings, a TV, and a washing machine. We include the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can park right by the barn. We allow one dog.
