Tremafon is a barn conversion in Cutiau. It's in Snowdonia. It's detached and sits in its own enclosed garden. The owners live next door. They're nice. You'll probably see them about.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's clean and comfortable. It's not a show home. The layout is open plan downstairs, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. There's a woodburning stove. The WiFi works okay, but it's not super fast because of the location.
The garden is enclosed. It looks out over fields and you can hear the River Dwynant from it. There's a footpath right from the gate if you want to go for a walk without using the car.
For shops and pubs, you need to go to Barmouth. That's about three miles. It's a proper seaside town with a sandy beach. Harlech Castle is about twelve miles away if you're into history. There's a championship golf course there too.
If you're planning days out, the Snowdonia National Park Authority site is useful for walking routes. Cadw has the details for Harlech Castle.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a BBQ. You can bring one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate.
