This is Erw Goed Hen Feudy, in Arthog, North Wales. It's a detached cottage on our smallholding inside Snowdonia National Park. It's secluded, stuck between the Mawddach Estuary and the bottom of Cadair Idris.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not posh.
Getting to the cottage involves crossing a bit of uneven ground and a small footbridge over the stream. The stairs are fine. You have your own half-acre garden, which is fenced. A stream runs through it. There's a campfire spot and a bothy for outdoor cooking if you want.
You're welcome to walk on the 85 acres of woodland and hills we have here. The views over the estuary are good. We've got ducks, chickens, bees, and sometimes pigs. You'll see them about.
The nearest proper sandy beach is at Fairbourne or Barmouth, about three miles. The Mawddach Trail is right on the doorstep for walking or cycling. Dolgellau market town is six miles away for shops. The nearest pub, shop, and restaurant are about three miles.
If you're into mountain biking, Coed-y-Brenin forest is about ten miles. There's local fishing, pony trekking, and a golf course nearby.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's on-site parking and bike storage. We accept up to two pets.
