Y Stablau
Y Stablau is in Tal y bont, which is about halfway between Harlech and Barmouth. It's an apartment attached to a converted old farmhouse. You get your own entrance and a private bit of patio outside.
The place is just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean but not modern or posh. It feels a bit like an old cottage, so the doorways between rooms have curtains instead of doors. That's just how it is.
The sitting room is small, but there's a wood burner. You can light it when you get there. The kitchen is pine with some beams. They've used an old hay basket as a pan rack, which works. The best room is the sun lounge. It's got glass walls so you can sit and look out at the fields.
Outside, there's a patio with a picnic table. The view looks over stone-walled fields down to the sea. The patio area is enclosed, so it's fine for one dog.
You're a couple of miles from the coast path. For a proper beach, you can drive to Barmouth or up to Harlech. There's a golf course nearby, and a couple of pubs that do food and allow dogs. For main shops, you'd go to Dolgellau or Porthmadog. They're both about twenty minutes away by car.
In terms of stuff, it's got parking right outside, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine.
