Pen Parc
This is Pen Parc. It's our cottage in Bryncrug, which is in North Wales, right down in the southern bit of Snowdonia.
It's a semi-detached place, sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Everything's clean and in good order.
The cottage is just off the main road in the village. There's a pub about a two-minute walk away. We use it sometimes. Tywyn is a couple of miles down the road for shops, cafes, and a decent sandy beach.
If you like walking, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. The Snowdonia National Park site has good maps. You're also close to the Talyllyn Railway. The station at Rhydyronen is a short stroll. Aberdovey is a bit further along the coast for sailing and a nicer promenade.
One thing to know: the stairs inside are steep and a bit narrow. They're typical for an old cottage. Just take care on them.
Facilities wise, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs - we allow two. Parking is on the drive at the side. All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
