Dolphin Beach House

Dolphin Beach House is on the seafront in Tywyn. It's an old, tall house, Victorian I think. The front windows look straight out across the beach and the sea. You can see dolphins sometimes, honestly. I've seen them.

It sleeps nine, but it's a proper four bedrooms. There's a double sofa bed in the living room if you need it. Three bathrooms, which helps with a big group. There's a wood burner for winter evenings.

The main thing is the location. You walk out the door, cross the road, and you're on the beach. The Wales Coast Path runs right past. Tywyn town centre is a five minute walk away. There are shops, a few cafes, the usual.

The Talyllyn Railway station is in town. It's a lovely little steam train that goes up to Abergynolwyn. You can walk from there around the lakes.

Cader Idris is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper mountain. The Snowdonia National Park website has good walking routes. For surfing, Aberdaron or Borth are within half an hour.

The house has a terrace at the back. It's enclosed, which is good for dogs. We allow up to two. Inside, it's got character. The stairs are quite steep, and the floors aren't all level. It's that kind of house. It's clean and well looked after. It's got a 4 Star rating.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. One of the showers has a seat in it.
