Tillman is on the main road that runs through Tywyn, about five streets back from the seafront. It's a big Victorian end-of-terrace house. It sleeps eight, in five bedrooms. They're spread out over two floors, which is handy. There are three bathrooms.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It had a proper refurbishment a few years ago. They opened up the kitchen and dining area at the back, so it's a good space for everyone to be together. There are two living rooms as well, one at the front and a snug downstairs if someone wants a bit of quiet.
The garden is enclosed at the back. It's not huge, but there's a big picnic table out there. You can see Cader Idris from the front bedroom windows, on a clear day.
You're about a three-minute walk from the beach. It's a long, sandy beach, good for swimming and paddleboarding. The town centre, with shops and a few places to eat, is just a bit further on from that. The local pub is on the same road, a couple of minutes' walk away.
For walking, you can pick up the Wales Coast Path right from the beach. The train station is close, and the Talyllyn Railway starts from there too. That's a nice trip up the valley if you're into that sort of thing.
If you're driving, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. The foot of Cader Idris is about a 15-minute drive. Barmouth is roughly 20 minutes south, and Aberdyfi is about 20 minutes north. For a bigger town, Machynlleth is half an hour away.
Facilities wise: it's all there. Wifi, Smart TVs, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage in the shed.
